Not to be deterred by this level of defeatism, the Allerdale Green Party's Geoff Smith put pen to paper (or his fingers to the keyboard) and replied:
Stagecoach persisted with their defeatist attitude as demonstrated in their reply below.
The Allerdale Green Party have raised a serious issue and we will keep you updated with our campaign to introduce a late service between Maryport and Carlisle.
